You contribute to our success by:
- Developing and implementing machine learning models: You design and execute machine learning models tailored to enhance various business operations, ensuring they align with company objectives and drive efficiency.
- Analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends: You will utilize advanced analytical techniques to sift through extensive datasets, uncovering insights that inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborating to develop data-driven solutions: You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative, data-driven solutions that address complex business challenges.
- Conducting experiments to optimize models: You design and execute experiments to refine machine learning models, systematically testing hypotheses to enhance accuracy and performance.
- Applying statistical analyses and algorithms: You will validate the results of your analyses by employing a range of statistical methods and algorithms.
- Deploying models in production environments: You are responsible for deployment of machine learning models into production, prioritizing scalability and operational efficiency to ensure they function seamlessly within existing systems.
- Promoting a data-driven culture within the company: You will advocate for and foster a culture that prioritizes data-driven decision-making, providing training and resources to empower colleagues to leverage data effectively in their roles.
What makes you stand out:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning or a similar position.
- Master's degree in a STEM field, or equivalent. A background in mathematical modeling or stochastic processes would be a Plus.
- Senior-level practical experience in in building and implementing complex machine learning models; experience with reinforcement or deep learning would be a Plus.
- Strong knowledge of Python and common ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Expertise in statistical methods and algorithms for data analysis.
- Knowledge of DBT, ClickHouse (or equivalent), Spark, Dagster and Kubernetes is optional, but would be a big Plus.
- Good communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.
- Fluency in English.
- You are willing to visit our Munich office a few times a year for workshops or events - and are of course always welcome between these.
